      The HB, HK, and H-type vertical mixed-flow pumps are new mixed-flow pumps developed by drawing on advanced technologies both domestically and internationally. They are particularly well-suited for use as circulating water pumps in power plants, and can also be employed in various industrial applications such as water supply and distribution in steel mills, shipyards, and other industries, as well as for brine transport in salt farms, drainage and irrigation pumping in agricultural fields, and general water conveyance in urban areas. This series of pumps boasts the following advantages:
      1. Small in size and lightweight, the unit occupies a small footprint and does not require priming with water before startup.
      2. High efficiency—pump efficiency reaches 80% to 89%.
      3. Excellent cavitation resistance.
      4. Safe and reliable, with a long service life.

       Structural features:
      HB, HK, and H-type vertical mixed-flow pumps are single- or dual-stage pumps featuring vertical centrifugal or mixed-flow impellers equipped with guide vanes.
      1. Pump installation methods: Single foundation: The pump and motor are directly connected and mounted on a single foundation. Double foundation: The pump and motor are installed separately on their own individual foundations. In this case, the pump’s discharge pipe may be located either above or below the pump foundation.
      2. The pump’s suction sump is of the wet-pit type—meaning the pump is directly immersed in an open water channel (depending on user requirements, it can also be designed as a dry-pit structure).
      3. The bearings in the middle of the pump are lubricated rubber bearings, BBF bearings, or Thordon bearings.
      4. The pump shaft is equipped with a shaft sleeve, which is filled with clean pressurized water to lubricate the bearings. In special environments, copper alloy bearings can also be lubricated with oil, or anti-dry-friction bearings can be used, with the pump’s own conveyed medium serving as the lubricant.
      5. Pumps can be classified into two structural types: double-shell designs with removable rotors (including impellers, shafts, guard tubes, bearings, shaft seals, etc.) and single-shell designs with non-removable rotors.
      6. Most of the pump’s axial thrust is borne by the thrust bearing of the motor. For pumps with discharge diameters ranging from 350 to 1000 mm, the axial force can, if required, be supported by the pump’s own thrust bearing.
      The pump is equipped with a stuffing box at its upper end, which uses soft packing for sealing. Alternatively, mechanical seals or standstill seals can also be used. A replaceable shaft sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft.
      The pump is directly driven by an electric motor via a rigid coupling. When viewed from the drive end, the pump rotates clockwise. In general, the pump is permitted to reverse briefly; however, if the user does not allow the pump to reverse, an anti-reverse mechanism can be added. When the pump itself is equipped with a thrust bearing, an elastic coupling should be used for connection.
